when u know that u can earn more money after your resignation. Go for the internet business, which requires less of your time and the one that will not make you feel headache with web designing, or which require IT knowledge. Second, choose the internet based company which offer you the opportunity and at the same time giving you the convenience to start the business. Third, choose the business, which does not require big money to start it.

Yes - perhaps you are in a job where you have no potential for advancement. In this case, losing your job will hopefully catapult you to bigger and better things faster than if you had to decide to make the move yourself. Another scenario would be that you work for a company whose first reaction to any downturn in profit is to layoff lots of people. (I worked for one such company - while I did not get laid off, I eventually quit rather than wait for the ax to finally fall on me.) Or maybe you just aren't happy so you need to make a change.

yeah if something else comes along you can go for it right away without having to quit your job. Have patience and something good will come but it doesn't hurt to get yourself out there looking and making applications for a job you would really like to do.

well, this is a really bad example.
But if you used to work in the WTC and got fired on 9/10, that would have been lucky.
