I would also like to know if you like the Tiger OS or Windows XP operating system better.

I'd say it depends on what you want to do. If you play a lot of games then get a PC. If you mostly just surf the web and download stuff here and there then get a Mac because there are no viruses for it. It is important to note that you can now install Windows XP on the new Intel macs so you can have the best of both worlds. Macs are slightly more expensive than PCs though. I have a mac myself with the panther operating system and I'm a big gamer. Its getting around time for me to get a new comp. I have no complaints except it can take longer to get mac versions of games. I do laugh when my PC roomate gets viruses. :)

people like mac because its easier to use then windows xp but I don't see how having install drivers once in awhile to be a big problem. I find windows xp easier to use too but thats because I've been using it for awhile and just using apples are a bit awkward to me. They also say macs are usually for artistic people i have no idea though but in the end their all the same a computers a computer!

Okay... Simply put.
Macs handle graphically intense programs with much more stability than a pc. If you are video editing, photo editing etc, choose the mac.
If you are only going to use it for email and such? Choose the mac. It doesn't matter what system you have for that, and it is by far less likely to contract a virus.

If you are going to use it for gaming? PC All the way.
Macs can do gaming but they don't perform quite to the same standard.

So it's up to you and what you plan to do.

If you dont know much about computers, I would suggest a Mac. Besides if you want the fastest Windows machine, at the moments it's a Mac.

PC is better if you know what your doing, because it does not limit you on speed, versatility andj upgrades. Mac is ok if you do not, thats the only good thing about Macs, if you don't know what your doing, the Mac will not be as confusing...
