Go here and download Spybot Search & Destroy to get rid of Spyware. To Keep spyware from getting in download SpywareBlaster and keep it updated. SPybot will find and eliminate what's already there, and Spywareblaster will keep most of it from getting in. I see where someone else answered to get Ad-Aware. This is also a good freeware program. All of these programs are free and easy to install.

Try several applications as they compliment each other. My suggestions are Adaware SE, Spybot S & D, Microsoft Beta, and Ewido Security Suite (trial version to be used only if you're running 2K or newer). These are all free and you can find them by typing the names in google.

Download, install, update the definitions on all of them. Run them in 'safe mode' (usually by tapping the F8 key before the welcome screen appears). Remove all that they find. Reboot and things should be better.

The best program available is STOPZILLA. You can download a free 15 day trial that will totally stop spyware and adware. After that you must pay for it. Trust me, its fantastic.

Google the names "search and destroy" or "ad-aware"

both free and very effective. I advise you use both of these.
