Lois Lane has his baby while he takes five years to fly to Krypton. Lex Luthor stabs him with a Kryptonite shiv. He dies.
My friend says go see the first half, leave and get a refund. The time to get up & walk out is after he pulls the thing out of the earth.

He is still in love with Lois Lane.
Lois Lane already has a son and a live-in partner.
Lex Luthor found Superman's home on earth and found out the uses of the crystal found on it.
Lex Luthor mixed the crystal with kryptonite.
Used that crystal with kryptonite to have a new island.
Lex Luthor and his goons almost killed Superman.
Superman was saved by Lois Lane, her son and lived-in partner.
Superman almost died again when he sent the island into space.
Lois Lane and son visited Superman at the hospital and told him that her son is also Superman's son.

Superman comes back to Metropolis after being gone for about 5 years. Saves the world! Find out that he has a son by Lana! Kryptonite does not effect his son! Meaning there will be a sequel.

he goes way because astronamers found traces of his home world. it way nothing. he come back in a simular like structer from when he was a boy (from where i dont know. plus he can't breath in outer space just hold his breath for really long. and even if he could it's only around a yellow sun. once he left our solar system he would be normal so i don't get it) anyways.
luthers at it again he takes some crystals from super's ice palace and creats a small contenent which is also made of cyptonite. sper stops him and throws it to outerspace almost dying in the process. they hilp him live again how i dont know. and that it
oh loise moved on and is engagged and has a kid but aprently it's supermans kid and he is immune to krptonite.
