Sounds like you are on track. Get advise from your college counselor. You most likely will score high on the MCat test. Consider getting practical experience in the medical field. Take EMT training. If becoming a doctor is your passion stick with it even if you go to med school outside of the US. If med school does not work out you can also count on a successful career in bioengineering.

Well first of all it depends on what med school you're trying togo to. Coming out of berkeley with a 3.3 you will deffenintley get into a med school. Try Houston University.

Don't just look at the classes and the grades.. You still have to make it through MCAT. I would also suggest padding your resume with some volunteer experiances that you are interested in. Most medical schools are looking for good grades as well as well rounded students. There are many things that you can do to help you get in.... but you can not just go on one aspect. Good Luck.

You have a good chance if you do well on the MCAT and apply to all your public CA med schools and not just UCLA and UCSF.

I suggest that you retake a few classes because going to med
school requires at least a 3.75. Wait you said you were a
freshman, it's not quite necessary to to retake any classes just
yet but still keep it in mind.
