few years back, i had a relationship with a girl, we were getting along so well, that we decided to get married, but her parents didnt agree for that, since she didnot want to disappoint them, we separated, this happened more than one year back.
during our time together we had few big fights over small things, but never had any big disagreement. thinking back i get a feeling that i should have done more to marry her, i did not pay that much attention towards her, thats why she left me for her parents.
what do you think about this?

She left you for her parents? Sheesh, I'd say good riddance to the incestuous one. OK, I'm picking on your sentence structure, sorry.

This phenomena you speak of is called having regrets. If you want to get back with her, do so. If you're just hashing over your past because you haven't met anyone fabulous lately and you're bored, I'd think twice. It's hard to back pedal a relationship. We all need time to look at ourselves, our habits and what we did to make a relationship fail. It's good to look at this stuff every once in awhile, it puts you in touch with the truth.

Being alone isn't a bad thing at all. Enjoy it while you have it, it doesn't usually last very long.

I think that it's in the past and that's where you should leave it. I think that it just wasn't meant to be and that's why things happened the way they did.

well, if you still love her, you have to talk to her abt this to clear things. But you also have to accept what would be her decision..goodluck!
