I just saw it and thought it was like Silent hill, a movie to please, brings back everyones favorite characters stringed to a plot that isn't the main course. I don't understand, well kinda (its disney, and the first was a hit) I don't though, how the movie can be praised while its underlining is so obviously sketchy.

It was definitely not as good as the first, but it was still fun. I went into it with the expectation that I was going to see a Disney sequel to a movie that surprised me. So... I thought it could have been wonderful, but I didn't really expect it to be. I'm glad it wasn't terrible and I am looking forward to number three. Overall, it felt like taking the characters from the first movie and transplanting them into an Indiana Jones movie. Still, I liked it and will probably see it again.

Yea i didn't enjoy it that much either, but it was still pretty good. Anyways what i thought was really cool was that my Aunt and Uncle both got to meet the stunt man that worked with Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom on the set in the Bahamas while they were at a fish feeding place. I thought it was really cool anyway. But the stunt man said they were filming both 2 and 3 of the Pirates of the Carribean series. SO there's going to be a number 3!!!

First, let me just say that I really enjoyed the first one. Now, my opinion of this one....
I HATED it! I don't understand what the critics are talking about (it's great, the story is deep and involved, blah blah blah). It was CRAP! First, it's 2 1/2 hours long, Next, it jumps back and forth using a tired formula of people trying to all get together that's been done a thousand times before. The "pirate ghosts" (zombies?) aren't scary at all - not even cool like the last ones, just stupid. The story was just dumb.
And the ending made me want to tell EVERYONE to avoid it, just because it really pissed me off.
In short, not only do I not recommend that people see it, but I wouldn't even RENT it! Save your money and let someone else rent it, then go to their house and watch it. Let THEM clean up the popcorn when you throw it at the screen after the "ending"!

properly for sure any action picture is larger contained in the theater! it has a wide television and a good sound equipment. i do not imagine you'll delight in that a lot on the pc. perchance you could employ it? theres very a lot happening at Blockbuster. good success figuring out!

I literally just got home from the theater, it was okay, the first was much, much better. And the ending made me want to throw my popcorn at the screen, stupid disney with their cliffhangers...

It's a pointless and meaningless Hollywood popcorn action film; I prefer intelligence and artistry.
