September 11 in the big picture was no more than a bloody nose. It will always be remembered as much more than it really was. It was a horrific attack to be sure but no more so than Pearl Harbor was in 1941. It's my honest opinion that people have placed way too much importance on 9/11. The number of American soldiers killed in Afghanistan and Iraq have surpassed the deaths at the WTC and the killing goes on. Yes, we should and did retaliate against the perpertrators in Afghanistan and it was right we did so. But it is history now. We need to move on. 9/11 should not define people's lives as much as most people allow it to.

Not until we find out what Rea11y Happened, so that the true perpetrators and causes can be addressed in the open. Until the secrets are stopped, more of these tragedies will occur. 9/11 is a symptom that there are fundamentally wrong things going on in the world that make people treat other people like they are disposable for trumped-up reasons. Blind faith in religions, science, governments, or education leads to people doing things without questioning their competitive attitude toward other people. Competition over gods, goods, and guns is the current status quo.

Sadly, some people were not affected at all. This was a very devistating time for me, and I don't even live anywhere near New York. I think the world will rebuild their buildings, families will rebuild their lives, they have no choice other than to face the future as it has been dealt to them. Those who were fortunate enough to be able to continue after their loss of family will realize that theyhave to make the best they can withtheir lives and continue on for those who werenot able to continue. Yes, I think the world will recover, because we have to, but there will be a lot of people who will suffer a lot longer than others. It will take them longer to recover.

Time can heal all wounds but a scare will remain. The world will never be the same place that it once was. We have a choice to live in fear or work to make what is before us into the utopia we all savory. Love, respect and understanding of each other is the only way we will get their. We need to put people into power that have a passion for this and can make a difference. Someday we may have peace. Never hurts to want and dream.

We can never forget about 9/11 but we have already moved on. So I think we already had recovered. Thats the best we can do.

The world can never recover from the aftermath of 911. Many questions has been unanswered. Once it has been addressed and shared with the public, things may be different. Check out the following link for more information:

No, never...So many innocent dead in one day, so many hurt, so many mentally and emotionally pained as well as many physically... We can never recover, just like we can never recover from the second World War, another time where many people died, but at least it wasn't all in one day, like 9/11...

Time and evolution, compassion and love. As individuals we must learn to control ourselves. The world may recover but will we -- as human beings, ever be able to forgive for the devastation and pain that it has caused so many. That alone is the question.

I think that the only way that the world will recover will to put back what started this country. God we were founded on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We have gone down hill from when we took God out of our Country. Just like that Carmen song. "We need God in America again".
