I think its okay, and this is comming from an LDS person (mormon )
although I do believe if you are in a relationship or married
you should refrain from it, unless you are doing it together!
Especially for women because women have a harder time
learning what arouses them although they have a higher
sexual capacity once it is learned! The female sexual response
dwarfs anything a man can acheive its finding all those spots
thats the hardest-i believe it to be ESSENTIAL for a young woman!
Even though most people think that it applies more to males
this is not true! But at the same time the thought
of a guy doing it grosses me out! They look so stupid when they
do it.LOL
Fact: 75% of women masturbate, and that is only in the US
And apparently women do as much "fantasizing" as men do
uh oh !!

I agree with good, fun, exciting, and okay....
I feel that way because in a weird way it is holding my marriage together.
Our sexual appetites don't always agree, so sometimes it helps to take matters into my own hands. If the alternative was forcing her, that would be a sin.
To those who would say I'm married to the wrong woman...try again. We have an incredibly rewarding relationship. It just so happens that when she's not feeling amorous and I am, I masturbate.
It certainly doesn't HURT anything.

why wrong, sinful or ugly???? it's your body. and it's just a release really. i believe that there are all sorts of sexual people in the world at different levels (even A-sexuals). and some people need more, some less. masturbation is an excellent way to relieve sexual tension, which (in my opinion) manifests itself usually in a negative way otherwise. (i've even heard that boxers are supposed to abstain from sex a few months before a match. it's believed that it helps them build UP their testosterone, don't know if it's true or not, just what i heard, but apparently we can figure out why if it is true. it would make them more aggressive).

Masturbation is right, as long as it relieves the issues that burden you at that moment. This is probably the reason that priests end up the way they are with children because they are being forced not to perform a natural act of nature so their mind are then perverted to other forms of satisfaction.
Above all else, we are animals. There is nothing that separates us from primates except that we have to lug out as* out of bed every morning to work from 9 to 5.

I'm not sure about how it affects guys, but if a girl does it too much, she will like it better than when she is with a guy. I read a book called "The Happy Hooker" ages and ages ago, and she said the same thing. It's selfish, and you become less of a lover.
When you please yourself too much, you forget how to please your partner. It's best to have self-control in all things. It's not just about the bible. It's about how we look at ourselves and others.

There is nothing wrong with mastrubating as long as it doesn't take over your life and prevent you from being a contributing member of society.
Maybe if people were more comfortable with their bodies, there would be less unprotected sex and less sex out of committed relationships.
No STD. No pregnancy. No partner needed.

It may be good when, without the availability of the pot, you seem to be bursting or in danger of using the wrong pot. Otherwise, it could be wrong, sinful and ugly.
