I think you mean Aristotle. And, according to him, man is a thinking and political animal. He believed that men were mortal and could be destroyed but their minds were not. He believed in a higher power and he believed that the best way to live was within a social structure of laws and rules and governments exactly like we live today. So his philosophies are the ones that rule the land in these modern times.
