It seems that blacks can't let go of the fact that they are...black. White people could care less about racism. Sure there are racists from all races but blacks also make an issue out of everything. The real problem is the NAACP. Whether anyone wants to admit it or not, it is the single most racist organization in the world. Have you ever stopped to think that blacks have all sorts of activities. Miss Black America, United ***** College Fund, Governments Black Caucus, a number of black universities and colleges, NAACP, and the list goes on. Ever wonder what would happen if other people from other races had all these organizations and activities? Blacks perpetuate racism more than any other group of people. Frankly the rest of the world is getting tired of it. No one alive on this earth today had anything to do with slavery. That's the reality of it.

I know exactly what you mean. Black people do have a tendency to cross the lines of inappropriate and not give a damn. To hell with being politically correct, what's that? A lot of things that black comedians say about white people is at times is very stereo typical. Dave Chappel is the perfect example...if a white man talked about blacks the way he talks about whites....we would never hear the end of it....we'd see it on the news, read it in the papers, and the NAACP would be in his a$$. Years ago during a foot ball game the Redskins painted a pig red and put a tomahawk on it...and many native Americans were offended....but it wasn't made into an issue. Now what would have happened had that same pig been painted black wearing an Afro wig? During boot camp years ago, we all had to pile into the back of a double deuce (a big truck), it was a mixed crowd, blacks, whites,Latinos. A black man made the comment out loud that we were piled into the truck like a bunch of Mexicans crossing the border. Which wasn't funny...I said to him...did you consider that you may have offended some people. What if one of these whites or Latinos had said we're piled in here like a bunch of slaves crossing the Atlantic. The rules are definitely bent for blacks and i think it's due to the history of this country. We need to stop living in the past and fully embrace our future as one nation (one people) under GOD

not much we can do about it really. But I'm glad you realize that rascism is never right no matter which side commits it. However, most black people that make comments like that are just doing it for humour and I have no problem with it (i'm white). Everyone just needs to lay off and stop being so politically correct. I know there are people that believe stereotypes are true, but those people are, well, idiots. Lots of those on here. For example, I asked the question "how can possibly believe that world is round?" and I had 75% of the people take it seriously. When in reality, it was just a joke and I thought any reasonable person would realize this. But, with both situations, people tend to be unreasonable in their assumptions. Anyways, it's just the way it is, and with time, it will go away.

I guess the general feeling is that since there are so many negatives already out there about blacks, there must be something we could get away with along those lines. It is not the right thing to do, because two wrongs never make a right, and we should be above that sort of stereotyping. The rules are not bent, the people who are the perpetrators of this kind of behavior just act like it's so.

Because you easliy disprove a stereotype about a white person faster than you can a black person depending on where you live.
Lets say I say white people can't play basketball. Well that can be prove wrong quickly-Dirk, Steve Nash and so on.
Now lets say I say all black guys are play sports.
What's the difference? If you live in a city with a large black population-you know that isn't true. Yet if you don't and all you see on tv are blacks as athletes or go to a college where all the blacks play sports, you will think that stereotype is true.
IN other words a whoite person can disprove a sterotype about them faster than a black person can.

Really because most of white people would never want to be black, not even in Chris Rock's shoes. For that reason they don't care what black people are saying, because anything that a black man can do, white can as well, and it is well known fact. So, why would whites be offended? What, they can't jump, or sing, or dance or make 10 kids with 5 diferent women? If someone called me a cracker, I would laugh.

I sort of see what you're saying, and I'm not going to go as far as saying that its true because I do know white people who do have rhythm and who can dance, but honestly, a lot of white people don't. But I know a lot of black people who don't have rhythm as well and can't even clap the beat of a song. I think black racism is more accepted because the stereotypes that we have aren't very damaging to white people as a culture. So what if we say you can't dance? But the white stereotypes about black people are VERY damaging to us, such as us being murderers, lazy, rapists, stupid, eating chicken all day. I would much rather have someone say I can't dance, wouldn't you?

It's so heartening to see you're so impartial. Whites now have to be very careful in the presence of a black person to not say anything that might be politically incorrect. The truth is, you are the minority and your race is sitll recovering from the period of racial discrimination and segregation that really wasn't that long ago. I'm curious, though. Are you mixed. Do you have anything besides African descent in your heritage? Your avatar looks light skinned. If that is the case, I don't think you should just say you are black but identify with the other nationality too. And I speak from personal experience.

I like your question. This is sad really. I think that it depends on what part of the world that you live in. In some places it is more acceptable to have racist views toward blacks. In some places it is the other way around. To be honest, there is certain things that have been statisticall y proven. We are different in many ways, but not in learning different things. It has been proven that blacks are better sprinters and whites are better long distance runners It is never acceptable to be ignorant and racist, not matter what color the person is
