It is a windows XP and has been doing this for about a month. It only shuts down when I play games and is VERY annoying!

Sounds like a heat problem. Take the side panel or cover off your computer and look to see if all the fans (including the one on your video card if it has one) are working. If they are take some canned air and blow out the vents on your the case including those behind the grill at the front and out from around the fans. Make sure you blow any dust out of the heat sinks on the CPU and video card. Then try running the games with your case open - if it works then the problem was with air flow. Put the case back on - you may want to add a case fan. Pet fur - especially car fur is bad for clogging the vents.

mine does a similar after upgrading to homestead windows 10,i had it on 8.a million and performed nice no over warmth or crash.i had organisation of heroes,opposing the front, antales of valor,no issues in any respect yet on homestead windows 10 i tried taking section in only the bottom recreation organisation of hereoes without patches or something and motives my computer to demonstrate off no type of caution or something.yet that s what the first difficulty to pop in my techniques overheating yet I don t recognize why whe it performed nice formerly.

Are you playing 3D intensive game? Is your computer overheating?
So it started in when the wheather got hot, eh?
Keep the side panel open, and make sure all fans are properly cooling the system.

Could be the graphic card isn't up to date with the game. Or the RAM isn't enough. Check the minimum requirements to run the game.

Is ur power cable loose? My comp. had the same problem and it turned out that everytime I play games with the mouse, I disconnected the power cable.

u have to increase ur PC RAM
and check for virus
