I know just where you're at my friend went over to Baghdad for his duty and just got back a few months ago. I was worried sick about him all you can do is pray and write and send care packages to let him know you are thinking of him. By the way my friend is headed back (his choice). PRAY FOR OUR SOLDIERS!

Buy a life insurance policy that covers act of war. That way at least you'll be covered.

Otherwise all you can really do is pray and hope for the best. Write him letters and stay in touch him with while he is gone to get his hopes up.

The only thing you can do is to be there for him and listen to his concerns. Try and assure him that the people with him will be doing their best to watch over him and themselves. Tell him to try and be strong and pray, you should also pray for him.

Be there for him and don't mention death to him. Send him letters, phone cards and little gift boxes and appreciate the fact that he feels he is fighting for you to keep your freedom.
