There is never a good reason for vaginal bleeding after a hysterectomy, and it is not a good sign. Please, please, please visit your GYN *immediately* to have neoplasm or malignancy ruled out. Good luck and hope all turns out fine.

I actually went through the same problem a couple of months ago...my hysterectomy was due to cancer complications. Don't know if your's is or not. But it turned out it was only when I urinated and it was related to the aftermath of my chemotherapy and radiation. Turns out it did damage to some healthy cells as well. Make sure that you aren't missing any other symptoms is the point. Are you sure that it is coming from your vagina, or is it coming from your urethra. This was my scare as well. Either way see a dr. right away, depending on what you have left (I have nothing) it could be early symptoms of cancer as well. This was my warning. Note your symptoms and consult a physician. If you had a hysterectomy because of cancer you will need to call your oncologist. God bless.

There actually could be a number of reasons. The question is did you have a complete hyst, with removal of both ovaries? Do you have even one ovary? If so it could be an ovarian cyst that burst. Your best bet is to contact your gyn doctor. I work for an OB/GYN department and we see this in our office surprisingly often, but each is still individual and unique.

Don't want to scare you but please see a gyn ASAP!!! Endometrial cancer and some other gyo cancers can cause bleeding. I got stage 3A endometiral cancer last year but had no signs since I was premenopausal (sp) but it is usually caught early because women go to the doctor because they are bleeding after menopause.

Could be nothing but getting checked out will put your mind at ease. GOOD LUCK!

You should see a gynecologist. Sorry, I don't know what is causing it, nor do I think I should hazard a guess.
