I have had great luck with a product called eco-H by Ecoquest International. It is really a plant enzyme based cleaner, but is completely non-toxic and really kills bugs. I use it as a vegetable wash as well, so it is a great way to keep away the critters without contaminating your food source.

IPM... Integrated Pest Managment. It is what organic farmers use to control pests.

A combination of biological controls (other bugs), cultural controls (how you grow and rotation), and when needed selective spraying of certified organic products...

Someone told me this remedy a number of years ago and it works. Mix up a small amount of dish soap (about a cap full) with a spray bottle full of water. Test on one of each kind of plant first to be sure you won't kill the plant.

You can order lady bugs from a nursery. They chow down on aphids like they're candy. Also spray everything with soapy water. The soap encases the bugs and suffocates them.

You should plant merigolds around the border of your garden. They help stop the bugs. Also buy lots of ladybugs the will also help keep the bugs down.

This sounds abit gross.....but collect dead bugs...any kind will do...let them set in enough water to barely cover them for about 3 days(add water as it evaporates)strain water into a spray bottle and delute.
To save time Isimple use worms.Like I said its gross, but it works like a charm
