You've used some big words there my friend. Unfortunately, I don't think you know the meaning of them.

For something to be totalitarian, you are referring to a regime that maintains power by controlling all activities of the state. There isn't a system of checks and balances, a constitution, or protected freedoms except those that are put in place by the regime. In order for this to describe the U.S., the constitution, Supreme Court, Congress, political parties and media (to list just a few institutions) would have to be radically different or not exist at all.

We could stop there, but your ridiculous accusation gets better...

For something to be classified as an oligarchy, power in that country must be controlled by a few small families or one (monarchy), in which the "throne" is passed to an heir which is selected by the ruling power. Now in some sort of twisted way, you are trying to make the weak point that the Bush's have had control for too long, or that the Republican party has taken control of all forms of government. However, your focus is obscured by the fact that a republic is in place, which still has the power to vote its elected officials into office. This one fact alone is what makes your line of reasoning seem more like a embarrassing spectacle of wit.

You can complain all you want about the party that's in power. How it got there and why it's still there has nothing to do with the complex vocabulary you've managed to pull out of thin air...
