A wife's role in a marriage is whatever you 2 agree it should be. In mine.. I chose to have kids, to stay home with those kids and to be a traditional 50's wife.. you know, cook, clean, child rear, handle the bills, all that junk. My parent's marriage was different and they were just as happy. My mother had a job, my father had a job. They both paid bills, and bought what needed to be bought. They both cleaned and cooked, and we had babysitters.. Every marriage is different. There are no set roles for men or women. The ONLY thing that should be SET in a marriage.. is that you are both going to work together towards the same things, and that you both agree that love, trust, compassion and caring are important.

A wife's role in a marriage encompasses many things, as does her husband. Remember it is a joint effort to keep things in tact and to work together as a team.
There will be good times and bad. However, the good should always outweigh the negative, and if the relationship has been built on a solid foundation you shall thrive in love and friendship.

No one has a role in a marriage. Both people have an obligation to love and support each other, and that's it.

OK...... My opinion on this is as follows........ A wife should love her hubby at all times, even when you fell like S M A C K I N G `em really hard... A wife should also, give her hubby lots of pleasure, by dressing pretty for him, in the bedroom as well as out in public.... She should give great **** ****'*, and be wild and also at times submissive in bed...... She should listen to how his day went even when she does not want to...... She should spend the money wisely. And be a great mommy to the babies..... And she should not be a whinny baby......... And of course this all works both ways........ ~ Best wishes ~

dilemmas, dilemmas. A wife should cook and clean. she should make ice cream sundaes to share with her husband and big plates of spaghetti too. a wife should take care of the animals and the children. she should love herself and her husband. she should have lips good for kissing and ears for listening. Oh yes, she should have the ability to keep her husbands attention (this one is impossible i think)

not a husband's slave but a PARTNER...everything should be in equal proportions, a wife should be the lover, friend, sex mate, soulmate...all in one and the same thing goes for the husbands!
