Actually, quite good. Right now, the largest undeveloped petrolium deposits in the world are sitting in the Alberta oil sands. The technology to extract the oil from the sand is fairly recent so there's a boom going on in the provence. Currently, they're operating 100,000 short of the people they need for current production. They also plan to triple production in the next 10 years. a "60 minutes" article I saw recently said that a student out of University can expect to be earning an average of $120,000 two years out of school if they work the oil sands.
