Do what I did. I told my mom " I don't like it when dad talks about you and I don't like it when you talk about him. You two chose each other not me don't take it out on me because you no longer love him thats not fair to me." She didn't like it but she no longer talked about him to me.

Tell you mom, that no matter how she feels about your dad, keep it to herself. You love him and pretty much thier relationship is old and your are another part of that. Tell her to refocus on what is important, which is you.

Let your mom know how you feel, and tell her that's between her and him he's still your dad no matter what you say about him.and you don't want to hear it.
