Post your dog walking, garden care. and pet sitting signs at your local Senior Center. Then as you get phone calls your mom can check them out, or ask for references. If you go to church, that would be a good place to post a message too. A local upscale condo would be a good place as well to post a card. Many people, myself included, need help from time to time with pets. I like teens to help me walk my hounds... Especially if I am trying to train one, it helps to have someone holding the leash of the other, and we walk together.
