I think he's got good music, but he's scary looking. I think he seriously looks like a vampire...CREEPY.

His music is cutting edge, and controversial, which makes people want to listen. I saw an interview where he had contributed music to a movie soundtrack, and he spoke very intelligently and with superb articulation. So after that, I think nothing but positive thoughts about Marilyn Manson.

You can't judge people by how they look. Take Gene Simmons of Kiss for example - the man is very smart and he speaks six languages. And, who would have thought that Ozzy, at night is eating the head of a bat, and during the day, was raising a family?

Marilyn Manson is cool,he one is best friends with one of the greatest actors of the time Johnny Depp. His band of Twiggy Ramierz,Madonna Wayne Gacy and the rest kick butt. His songs rock, his concerts are awesome.People look down on Manson because he's trying to break-away from the average looks and work on his own unique thing and that kicks ***!

Yes, it's an image. Yes, he has a higher than average intellect. I like alot but not all of his music.

The Wonder Years reference is a goofy rumor based on him looking vaguely like Paul Pfeiffer. Manson's real name is Brian Warner, the kid who played Paul is Josh Saviano...they're two different people.

Umm.

Well, Im not a fan of his music, but I respect his artistic ability. And yes his looks are very SCARY!! :)

But, I must say, hes insanely intelligent. Brilliant!

Sometimes people with such intelligence just have a different way of presenting themselves.

Hmmm! One person I just wont figure out, but I do have respect for.

I think he leads people into temptation for the devil. He has even admitted to being an athiast, not worshiping god, but satan. I think hes an awful influence to young children and teens all over the world. His music has a meaning, but its a meaning that I dont believe in. So this is how I feel.

A mass media induced slave of Trent Reznor. He used to be a dorky Polish looking bass player in Nine Inch Nails and then Trent Reznor made him his love child. He only looks like that and acts/talks like that to get everyone to think he's "oh so wierd" and get attention. Attention = $$$ from little goth wanna-be kids in Oklahoma (and the like) that are young, stupid, bored, and have money. He's just doing all this to line his pockets and his record company's pockets just like any other performer. Its all about the BENJAMINS!

I hate his music, I hate his image but Marilyn Manson is very intellegent. Have you heard the man speak? He's a genius. I thought he was all satanic and messed up until I heard him speak.

I feel a bad energy from his music when he sings it himself. I listen to his songs redone by other bands. Usually I restrict reused music, but sometimes you just don't have a choice.
I usually don't like Depeche Mode but they did a really good remake of "Personal Jesus"
And he called Gerard Way out so...well...I'm not fond of him.
And he wishes to produce the spawn of the devil. So again I can't say I'm fond of him.

He's supposed to look that way! I really liked them when they first got noticed... 1993... but as they put out more albums I liked them less. Maybe I just mellowed as I got older :) Saw them in concert 3 times, all very good shows.
