Since each university is different, they include different things. Some have individual bathrooms, while others have community bathrooms. TV's are generally not included, but cable is sometimes provided if you hook up a tv. Internet is sometimes free, but is always free at the school's library. Sofas are not included, a mini kitchen is sometimes shared between a couple of rooms.

You can also check the website of the school you are looking into and they will tell you under the student life section.

It really depends on the university. It varies more college to college than state to state. The university should provide you with that information once you are accepted and tell them that you want to live in student housing. Usually they expect you to bring your own tv, computer, etc. but I wouldn't be surprised if they provided cable and internet. Usually beds are included as well along with maybe a desk or two. But also check with your roommate (if you have any) before buying stuff for your dorm because he or she may already have bought a tv, microwave, etc. for the room.

College dorms usually have a caferteria to go to throughout the days, and sometimes there are special hours you can go. In the dorms there is bed/s and you supply furniture usually. You share a bathroom in the dorms also. Well, I think you should get a tour of campus life so you can get a better understanding of dorm life. Good luck!

You really have to check with the college your attending. Most colleges have websites that include all the dorm room information. That would be your best source of information.

It doesn't vary from state to state it varies from school to school. Most colleges have a variety of different dorms, you get what you pay for. Just go to the housing site of the college your talking about.

Depends on where it is. Try going to the dorms website, or contact them over the phone. I'm sure they will be more than happy to give you the details.

Bedroom you share (maybe) with another. Desk, and closet. Down the hall (at least in ours) is a communal bathroom with showers. yeah, old time place, all one sex.

stink, noise, cranky roommates, rude neighbors that keep different hours, TV sets going all the time, no privacy when you need it. lots like a cell block, except you gotta pay for it.
