you just have good timing....kinda' like some people able to tell the time down to five minutes or less give or take. I have the ability to guess time after hours of workin' hard and not having a clock onhand. You're just talented in a freakishly odd nature, nothin' to be worried about.

Just try randomising when you look at the clock!
It's nothing out of the ordinary, my friend. Simply, you just remember the times you see those numbers more than the times you don't. Obviously your body clock plays a part and gets you to look after sixty minutes or a multiple of that, it just happens that you first looked when it was twenty past. It's a very common phenomena, I shouldn't read too much into it, as by doing that you reinforce the action to your sub-conscious, creating the perverse(not perverted-people often get these two mixed up) need to create the ordered action you are experiencing from what should be a random event.
It's simply a psychological situation, nothing to fret about!

This is called Confirmation Bias. Confirmation bias refers to a type of selective thinking whereby one tends to notice and to look for what confirms one's beliefs, and to ignore, not look for, or undervalue the relevance of what contradicts one's beliefs. For example, if you believe that during a full moon there is an increase in admissions to the emergency room where you work, you will take notice of admissions during a full moon, but be inattentive to the moon when admissions occur during other nights of the month. A tendency to do this over time unjustifiably strengthens your belief in the relationship between the full moon and accidents and other lunar effects.

This explains why it seems that the clock shows the time to be 20 past the hour and can also be used to explain a lot of other things people "notice".

And following up on Cerebrus' comments re: numerology, here's some more info:

TWO (as in 20=2+0=2)
Represents Duality. Alteration; diversity; conflict; dependence. Two is a static condition. It is rooted, seen as balance (two sides); stability; reflection. Two are the opposite poles. Represents the dual nature of the human being. It is desire, since all that is manifest in duality is in pairs of opposites. As One represents a point, two represents a length. The Binary is the first number to recede from Unity, it also symbolizes sin which deviates from the first good and denotes the transitory and the corruptible. Two represents two-fold strength--that is symbolized by two of anything, usually in history, by animals in pairs

The Number Two represents synergy and diplomacy. Not interested in becoming great leaders, people with the number two in their charts are content to work behind the scenes supporting and encouraging others. Gentle, sweet, supportive and loving, number twos have a tendency to allow others to walk all over them and influence their already fragile self-confidence and self-esteem. Depression and low self-confidence may become a problem for the number two

Well, it could be your internal clock telling you to look every 20 min. I'm not a doctor though.

But, I hear they make a lot of money. :)

well, it could be someone who has passed on and this is there way to keep connected to you. it could be that something happened to you at that time or it could be your body always being on this time frame. what does your gut tell you. what do you feel and think when you see this time?
