I have a loud popping sound underneath my vehicle?

I have a Chevy Cavalier 94 model and there is a popping sound coming from what seems to be the passenger side wheel. It pops when you go fast, go over something, go around a curve, or go straight so I'm not sure what it could be.

Any suggestions on what might be wrong and how much it might cost to fix it?

CV joints, sway bar links, sway bar, shock, strut, strut mount, motor mount, loose wheel, loose brake caliper, worn ball joints, control arm bushings, or the arm itself. Dude! It sounds dangerous!

Impossible to answer from info given here BUT! you better get it checked out before something lets go and causes an accident.I have seen tie rod ends make noise and come loose and one tire will suddenly just go all the way to the inside or outside and your screwed if your going very fast at all. Check it out A.S.A.P.

You may have worn out shocks or struts. I think the parts are right around $100. They are easy to replace. I shop might want about $100 labor.

The sound is probably from the CV joint. I don't know exactly how much it would cost for ur car, but on my camry, it cost around $250 including labour.

c/v jpints most likely you can change them yourself they are kindof a pain but if you are strapped for cash that is the way to go they might cost 3-500.00 dollars to have it done

could be loose lugnuts, broken steel wheel, worn bearings, cv joint etc.
does the poop noise coincide with speed of car?
