Excuse me but who just posted this incredibly stupid question?
As for whom you expect to answer it - ME! For I find this amusing.
There are those who ask questions for which they could easily find answers by using a search engine. There are those who ask questions such as yours because it amuses them and there are a handful here who genuinely have a legitimate question.
I enjoy being able to help those who honestly have a question for mentoring is an important aspect of life. I enjoy answering some of the stupid questions because the askers make me laugh at their lack of wit. I answer some of the ones that should be easily answered by search engines because the lack of initiative of some makes me feel pity for them.

Not everyone has stupid questions.
I agree that some questions are immature (and perhaps even offensive) but not stupid.
The other people who ask similar questions answer them.

That's why I want Yahoo! to have a question rating policy. If after a certain period of time- 7 days say, if the users rate your question with a thumbs down, you lose a certain # of points. If you get a thumbs up for a thought provoking question, you get some additional points.

Stupid questions are asked by people who are either young, silly, or just immature.
Stupid questions are answered by people who just want to see if they can make sense of them, make someone laugh, or out of sheer boredom.

I really agree with you on that. Some lady asked why isn't it okay to piss in a pool, I only answer DUMD@SS questions for the points!!!

And do you consider your question to be a "smart" one? If the questions annoy you then you don't have to read them. Free country, exercise your freedom and go elsewhere.
