I don't think so, although I am a lesbian and do wear anklets...but mine have bells on them because I like them that way. Anklets are very in right now. My partner and my cousin both work in bead craft and our local festival was last weekend; we sold a great deal of anklets and some larger bracelets that people fit on their tiny tiny ankles. I did see a lot of women wearing multiple ankle bracelets in multiple colours. {Probably just the in-thing right now Just enjoy your anklets, my dear, and don't worry about what someone said. (she probably wanted your anklet...heh heh)

Depends on the type of anklets it was I suppose. If it was a anklet with rainbows and pride colors maybe I could c y she said it. My Grandmother once said, in the past anklets were worn by Jezebels (wh0res). Don't think people really think much of it now though.

Didn't the store where you purchased the anklet have you sign a release form indicating you understood that by wearing an anklet you would be proudly proclaiming to all who see that you are a bona fide, anklet wearing lesbian?
Hee-hee-hee.
Oh, my, whatever won't we be accused of? Today it's co-opting anklets, last week it was the rainbow... what's next -- shrubbery? LOL;)

I badly sprained my ankle about 3 weeks ago. I was in a hurry going down the stairs, lost my balance and landed on a bad side of my left foot, causing my left ankle to be stretched going on the inside. The first 48 hours were excruciating and the pain was un-believable. I've never had a serious ankle injury before.
So I immediately treated it using the RICE method. The following day, the bruising and swelling were so horrible. I found out that I got a second degree sprain and immediately panicked after that. I had a football game on that week and it been looking forward to it because I've been training for rt. I had teammates that had similar injuries and it took them months to fully recover, some of them stopped playing altogether. So I kinda had a short-term depression because I can't imagine myself not being able to run and play sports anymore.
Because I was so desperate to recover again, I contacted a lot of people that I know who do sports and asked them if they had similar injuries. One friend of mine, from the boy's football team in my university, told me about H.E.M. Ankle Rehab. I got a copy 4 days after I got injured. I immediately read and followed what was instructed and felt improvement on the first day. I was able to walk a bit, but I was in pain.
A couple of days after that, the swelling and bruising were subsid-ing significantly and on the fourth day, I was walking comfortably again. Although I've had felt a bit of stiffness, I continued doing what was instructed. My sister was surprised that I have recovered this fast. I told her about this book and was shocked on how effective the procedures were. I'm just so happy that this book was shared to me and how effective it is.
Heal your ankle fully & fast?

See this is how society is.... labeling people. don't believe everything you hear girl. If you do you are going to grow up a screwed up kid. And if you are already a grown up, I would have to say you are already screwed. Read up on things, don't let others tell you crap like this. Don't believe it. I am a lesbian I don't wear jewelry on my ankles. Just because I don't like the feeling. But my partner now she has three on one ankle. My best friend who is straighter than an arrow has twenty on one ankle. Does this give you a clue to whom where's what?
