I think homosexuality is openly accepted, but generally sex outside of marriage is not acceptable.
When I was in Kuwait, I saw two men openly holding hands at a flea market type place.

Homosexuality is not allowed and men and women hold hand, that is normal. Many countries in Europe and Asia, friends hold hand, it is normal there, but not here in the U.S, because we have the fear of called lisbos or gay. I think you could be sexual with only the person you are married to, it is called monogamy. You should consult a professional, especially when it comes to questions about religion.
