It sounds like you're paying for too many hands that have a low chance of winning. If you're not getting good cards, fold. There's no use in paying for a hand you have 1%-5% of winning. There are a lot of articles on the internet that will help you tighten up your game.

Not enough folding. You need to fold bad hands more. Fold moderate hands more. On hold onto the good ones. You should be folding A LOT.
