This question is akin to me asking you, if your mom had a pair of testicles, what would happen? Well duh, (s)he wouldn't be your mom in the first place! Right?
Same argument goes here. If Al Gore was president then this incident wouldn't have happened.
But you couldn't get validation for your line of thought with the other question, huh? I mean if you were honestly asking a question you should have been able to see that an overwhelming majority said they would have felt safe with Al Gore.
However you were not merely asking a question. You were/are trolling the forum to validate your beliefs. So you needed to ask this question again and perhaps emailed your repug friends to respond to your silly question in order to validate your point of view.
Funny thinng is most Liberals I know of would fight even for your right to abuse them.

I'd like to think that his advisors would have identified Afghanistan as the place to begin the War on Terror.
Certainly, withouth Cheney and Rumsfield around, we wouldn't have gone into Iraq.
How come no one ever asks why in 2002 and 2003 Iraq became this pressing problem for us?? Our no fly zones were doing their thing and we regularly dropped some ordnance for good measure. Then all of sudden, it's time to invade.
Rest assured Gore would not have done that. And just maybe we would have had enough "American" boots on the ground in Afghanistan to get the "real" bad guys.

Al Gore would have betrayed us or he prolly would have been stoned to death.
Liebermann and Gore would have been feuding as well because Liebermann is a Patriot but Gore is not.
