Pa is a unit of pressure and is a shorthand note for Newton/sq.mtr. i.e if the pressure is one pascal, there is a force of 1 Newton on every square meter of surface.

Pa is a very small unit and that is why higher pressures are always denoted in kiloPascals or megaPascals.

Atmospheric pressure at mean sea level is about 101325 Pa.
