Umm, I don't remember how old the solar system is, but it will die in billion years. When the sun dies it will become a black hole.

Our solar system is approximately 4.5- 5.0-billion years old. The sun is expected to 'die' in about another 4.5-billion years, and will end its life as a white dwarf star with a diameter about the same as Earth's current diameter. Just before shrinking to the white dwarf stage, the sun will expand into a red giant and almost certainly engulf Mercury, Venus, and Earth.

The Earth is about 4.6 billion years previous and the sunlight is about 5 billion years previous. Supposively the sunlight will change right into a pink significant 5 billion years from now. And in about some extra billion years that's going to change right into a White Dwarf. regardless of the indisputable fact that the sunlight remains no longer useless yet. that's going to take possibly as many as 20 billion years for the sunlight to bypass from White Dwarf to Black Dwarf. and then the sunlight will die.

Please refer to one of my best answers on this topic, about three months ago. It was long and detailed and I can't type it all over again. But it was the best, so it's worth your time to look it up. Enjoy!
