has been a reocurring dream for quite some time now. had it again last night usually the purse doesnt get stolen, just the car.

Dreams are very puzzling. If it is a recurring dream try to figure out
what the car and the purse and the mall symbolize. What does your car mean to you on an emotional level, your purse and the mall.
I would guess that your car may symbolize independence.
Emotionally is someone trying to take something from you. In your relationships are you treated as an equal?
If you were in the mall and someone did steal you car and your purse you'd become very vulnerable.
Maybe you need to learn to appreciate what you have before you go shopping for something else. good luck! You'll figure it out.

I'm not an official interpreter of dreams, but I would say that maybe you have issues with not having something that is owed to you. The mall would represent a place that is full of options/opportunities. Your stuff is well...your stuff; what you do have--your qualities and achievements that helped present you to this place symbolising opportunity. Basically, I would believe that there is someone or something who appears to be a threat to you achieving something that you want; maybe a concern about a rival in a certain area of your life?
Once again, I don't know for sure, just an off-the-top of my head interp.

well unless your some kind of psychic freak than it just means that you have two choices, either you are just obsessed with shopping and had a nightmare or you have just watched a cop show about stealing a purse at the mall and running away in YOUR car. :)

Ooo- bummer. Sorry for what happened to you. Sounds horrible. Check your policy limits and see what is covered --that will tell you exactly what you'll get back for what was stolen. As far as your car goes, if it's owned by the bank, they'll pay it off otherwise they'll give you blue book for it. Good luck!! Don't forget to cancel all your credit cards and notify your bank. (And I'm assuming you've already filed a police report...)
