There is no life after death. This life is it. So you'd better enjoy it

Whether one faces resurrection, reincarnation, damnation, or oblivion after death, it does not seem likely that one would continue as the same man one was when one was alive. Whatever happens, you will not be the same after death as you are in your life, and, in a very real sense, this is your one shot at being the particular human being that you are, with all your problems, pleasures, friends, memories, hopes, dreams, fears, etc. Make the most of it.
Even if we continue as an saved soul, a reincarnated soul or spirit, a ghost, a damned soul, or slowly dissolve back into the soil, a man can only live on after death, as a man, in the memories of the living that remember us after we die.
If that is the case, the question is: how do you wish to be remembered?

The life of the spirit.
It is evident that the body dies. People who do not believe in life after death see only this. Human beings are body, mind and spirit. St Paul says only love lasts, knowlege and all other things pass away. I'd like to thing I will remember some of what I know now but most of it will be useless.
Hopefully the person we really are without the fears and pain and worries will survive. People who love one another simply and love God.
From reading these answers I think some will be surprised to find that God is not christian nor muslim nor hindu nor jew. These are just glimpses of the same, one God who we cannot understand or categorise. 'We see darkly, as in a mirror...........then we will see face to face'

A life of truth. If the person has been beautiful in his intentions and deeds then this truth will be beautiful too.

In religious sense life after death will be a spiritual life not a physical one, and that goodness will be preserved in for of new life form whereas evil will be destroyed - the absolute bad will actually die once and for all at the time of their earthly death. If we will be fortunate enough then we will not be able to choose and have inclinations for both good and evil since there will be then all good for us.

if there is a life after death then an extremely long one. with everlasting life the mind would, at one point, be filled to it's capacity. nothing new could ever be learnt. surviving for ever is a long, long time. how would man escape insanity?
granted three score and twenty years is a rough deal, but immortality may be even rougher.
