Stephen Hawking's "The Universe in a Nutshell" is a great book with lots of illustrations which deffinatley helps you understand whats going on. It describes the basics of relativity, getting into time travel, and black holes towards the end.

Both of Hawking's books mentioned, "A Brief History of TIme" and "The Universe in a Nutshell", are very good. They cover a variety of topics in a fairly layman understandable way.

I do. Let me think of it.
Stephen Hawking.
"A Brief History of Time" I think is the name of it. I've read bits. The stuff is never "easy" but he makes it about as understandable as it can be.
