it might be a urinary tract infection.. you dident tell all your symptoms...Bacteria can spread from the bladder to the kidneys either by moving up the ureter or by invading the kidneys from the bloodstream to cause a kidney infection (acute pyelonephritis).

Most people who have acute pyelonephritis have a fever and flank pain on the side of the body where the infected kidney is located. The back hurts just below the place where the ribs meet the spine.

A person who has a bladder infection can also have a fever and flank pain. So those symptoms don't tell the healthcare professional whether a person has a bladder infection or the much more serious kidney infection.

A person with a urinary tract infection who feels very ill and has a fever of about 100.4° to 104°F, shaking chills, and flank (see above) pain and tenderness is fairly likely to have a kidney infection (acute pyelonephritis). If a blood test shows a high number of white blood cells (leukocytes) and a urine test reveals clumps of white blood cells in the urine, the person almost definitely has a kidney infection.

If the kidney infection does not seem too serious, the healthcare professional will prescribe antibiotics that can be swallowed (oral antibiotics). The type of antibiotic prescribed will be one that works well against the kinds of bacteria that cause urinary tract infections.or maby a a bacterial infection of the vagina can feel a lot like a yeast infection if the vulval area is itchy or painful. unlike a yeast infection, the discharge can be dark yellow, green, or brown. and it won't smell like bread: it can smell like fish or something rotting, particularly after you have sex. if you think you might have a bacterial infection, or if you're not sure, get your diseased self to a doctor, sister. the main treatment is prescription antibioticsUTIs can be fairly easily distinguished from vaginal infections by a host of symptoms, including pain or burning when urinating, blood or mucus in urine, needing to urinate often, pain or pressure in back or lower abdomen, and a fever or chills. if you think you might have a UTI, don't mess around: go see a doctor, because the infection can travel up past the bladder, causing kidney damage.
trichomoniasis is caused by a parasite that can infect both the vagina and the urinary tract, and is primarily sexually transmitted. if you have a trich infection, your crotch can be itchy or painful, it can hurt to urinate, intercourse can be painful, and occasionally you can experience pain in your lower abdomen. again, you have to see a doctor to get antibiotics for trich.

You could have a bladder infection. The symptoms are not always the same with every person or every infection. It depends on the type of bacteria that inhabits your bladder. Secondly if you are having discharge I would question if you have a yeast infection. A yeast infection or bladder infection can be treated with oral antibiotics. Don't be afraid to see your physician. They see problems like this all the time.
