Hiking, Camping - there are some great parks and they all have hiking trails, some of which are very well maintained.

Go to the Kentucky Horse Park. I'm not sure how far it is from Bowling Green. But the horse park is great. It has one of every kind of horse.

I love Kentucky... my aunt lives there we visit her every year when we got to Virgina for our family reunions.. very beautiful
