I agree. Actually I have not visited Singapore, but I have visited Malaysia, which is similarly composed of 3 major ethnicities. I think it's inspirational and fantastic how harmoniously the society blends, considering the differences in culture.

In North America I think we really need to look at societies like Singapore and Malaysia and take away a lesson of mutual respect for fellow human beings. I'm not exactly sure what causes the union of races to be more harmonious there...but I would say the situation in N-A has something to do with the decaying value system we adhere to. In most places in Asia, there are very strictly no drugs. In Malaysia, there is only a very small proportion of people who drink alcohol due to religious contraints. The only people causing any ruckus there were us foreigners!

I think it's an issue defintely worth exploring. Perhaps it has! People should be made more aware of it.

provided that there is integration. the challenge with maximum multi-racial societies is that distinction races finally end up construction their very own 'ghettos' and different races do not prefer to be round those parts because of it. If all races integrated mutually, i imagine there should be a lot less problems with multi-racial societies. there'll continuously be racism, although. this is human nature.
