It's just a matter of personal taste really. Actually i prefer some older Megadeth over Metallica. I also don't believe Metallica would've been any different if Mustaine had stayed.

I gotta go with Megadeth. Dave Mustaine got kicked out of Metallica for partying too hard. That makes him more rock and roll.

the first 5 albums of metallica man , i can tell , are just awesomes , but the rest of them since then are just garbage , nothing good , bulls*&^ , i mean too comercial stuff .thats why i preffer actually megadeth , cuzz they keep their own style and dont need to go into the comercial crap just for sale albums.

I love both of them in different ways, but I like Metallica cause
their music is like classic symphoneys , And I like Megadeth
because of its sadness & lovely guitar harmonies
I thimk Metallica in Metal genre is something like Queen in rock genre! (Both are brilliant)
