99% likely these are wild snails that came in on your plants. they are asexual (can reproduce even if you only have one) so you should make an effort to get them all out of there. a way to avoid getting them in the first place is to soak your live plants in a strong solution of table salt and tap water for about half an hour then rinse them with clean tap water before putting them in your tank. good luck, they can be really hard to get rid of

First of all, did you know that when you write all your words in capital letters, it gives the reader the impression that you're SHOUTING AT THEM? People like it better when thing's are a little less in-their-face, so to speak. Just a suggestion! =)

As far as snails and slugs, I have no clue. Sorry!

Snails infest tanks. The only way to get rid of them (since their eggs are too small to see) is to get your fish into another tank, and completely clean everything in your tank with strong bleach, then rinse it all very thoroughly, and restart your tank.

take them out. take the plants out and rinse them off too. they will stop breeding and you wont have the risk of killing your fish. they might be fish worms. almost the same parasite that causes dogs to get really sick. they will eat your fish if they arent snails. if they are snails they would have grown their own shells in the eggs

keep the ones you want. Then sell the other ones to a pet store.. and about the adult snail pick it up and see if it moves. if not then bury it.

snails are very prolific breeders, they will produce hundreds of babies.as the older snails die off, there will almost always be babies to take thier place.

First thing I would do, is press the caps lock key... It is really annoying, reading something that someone typed in ALL CAPS!!!
