Everyone has vision in there lives. But some just can't do anything about changing their lives. They either don't have the money to make it happen, or to many people are standing in there way.

Some people are raised in situations or environments that don't encourage or allow themselves to have visions or goals. They have no parental support or guidance. They lack sufficient love and re-enforcement for their visions and have no validation from others when they "dream" or talk about having goals. When you live in a world like this, with no one to show you the way, or how it's done properly, it's hard to know how it's done. It's a vicious cycle that keeps the poor poor and the children without goals and vision in life stuck in the situations their parents were in. It takes someone special to step into their lives and show them the way out. Be a supporter and tell them they can do whatever they set their minds to.
Whether you know a child or not, always encourage him or her that they CAN do something. Smile at them on the street. It may be the only smile they get that day and they will remember you for that for a long time, even if they have never seen you before. It's the kindness the crave. If we show them a small piece of kindness on the outside of their worlds, maybe they will see that there are things in life worth working forward to and you will have planted a thought without even knowing it for that child to grow up having a vision.. A dream.. A goal. All with a smile.

Because you can either live saving up your money, preparing your mind, your body, your reputation, training, practicing, and working towards that big goal and getting such pleasure back or you can skip the stress of all of that and take the pleasure spread out over time. Some people want some big goal, but some don't. Why? The same reason that you wouldn't want anything else that you wouldn't want. It just doesn't excite you. People without goals just let things happen and consequntly it is a must more relaxed life. I'm quite goal oriented though.

I never used to believe that there are people like this, but perhaps there are.
If you have desire for something, don't you have a goal? In which case, everyone has goals.
You know, we look from the outside at others and we think that someone we know doesn't have vision or goals, but the reality is that they often do...we just don't perceive their goals as such.

It's all about motivation and know how. Some people just don't have either. I wouldn't say the reason would be environment as much as I would say lack of encouragement. When you don't hear good job, or you're not pushed when you are younger, concepts such as visions or goals are not cultivated properly.

There may be MILLIONS of possibilities why. However the question "why aren't they this or that" is pretty irrelivant.
Not everyone in the world has the same calling (or purpose if you will), which is what makes individuality so great! We all have free will and each desires something different.
Nor is it really anyone's place to suggest change upon them, unless they desire it and your help of course. Helping others is a great thing for anyone to do, however you must also be careful not to do too much or be too forceful.

Because some people just don't see a purpose to it. Think about some of the living conditions people deal with everyday and think if you would have time to live with vision and purpose.

Because they realize that when you set goals, you are setting yourself up for disappointment. It is nicer to watch life come at you and take advantage of unforeseen opportunities.
