I'm sure at sell out concerts, there are massive seats that are bought from scalpers. Do they sell tickets at the last minute, for face value, to get rid of them. I'm looking on line for a concert I want to take my son to, but the section I want is way too much and the concert is 2 1/2 wks away.

Put an ad in the paper saying you are looking for tickets. Scalpers suck and in most cities it is against the law and if you get caught you go to jail or at least are cited. Not only that but what they are selling as tickets may just be computer generated scrap paper and once you pay them they are gone and you are out the money when the ticket taker laughs at you for trying to pass off phony tickets. Don't be a scab and just buy the tickets like everyone else.

No, most scalpers sell the tickets for a profit unless you get lucky and find someone who's desperate to get rid of an extra one. Your best bet would be to buy it online, go to the arena and buy it, or call the ticket distributer to buy them. I know many people want a certain section, but sometimes I find that the section I didn't want turned out to be a good one.

No way, the day of the show there are too many desperate people with too much money to spend. You run the risk of getting bogus tickets, and could be setting yourself up for a major disappointment. Either shell out the cash for the section ou want, or get the nose bleed section. If your son has never been to a show it'll be a great experience either way.

Scalping is illegal where I am from. If you're caught, you will be arrested!
