Kelly is the best with Carrie in second. Rubben and Fantasia? Where are they now? I didn't watch the one with the old looking guy so can't say how good he was.

Only 2 Idols have achieved Serious Stardom Kelly and Carrie. I like Kelly but, I think given time Carrie will be the Biggest selling Idol to date.

In terms of talent, I would say that Kelly Clarkson and Fantasia Barrino are the most talented. However, clearly Kelly Clarkson has had the most successful career.

well i have watched all 5 seasons of american idol and i have pretty much agreed with the winners so far!
this is how i would rank the winners in the order of my liking them:
carrie underwood
kelly clarkson
taylor hicks
ruben studdard
fantasia bereno
there are also some others who were on there that have careers now that are quite good this is how i would rank them:
bo bice
clay aiken
josh gracin
carmen rassmussen
tamyra grey
kimberly locke
justin guarini
American idol soon to have a great career:
chris daughtry

i watch all the shows. i think Kelly Carlson, Carrie Underwood, Taylor hicks is OK. he need to change his hair color. too gray.
