Totally! I started going through withdrawal symptoms after the Germany vs. Italy game. I was for Italy from the beginning and was over-joyed when they beat Germany and it was especially exciting the way they pulled off the two goals in the final minutes of over-time. That game was fantastic and I could already feel myself longing for more then the next few final games. On some level I was sad through-out the World Cup, as I am in America and this country, on a whole, does not appreciate the beauty of non-American football ("soccer"). It is one more area where the U.S has created a sense of alienation for itself. I am seriously thinking of moving to another country. I SOOOO longed to be in the streets of Italy on July 9th. So, yes, I am very sad that the Cup is over and sad that I am living in a place where few even mention it. Thank you for being such a fan. It helps!

I am not actually sad. As they say every good things must come to an end.No doubt it was a great world cup. It had everything red cards, yellow cards, goals penalty shoot outs, head butting an opponent. The most exciting match in my opinion was the Portugal Holland clash no doubt.

I am. I love watching the best teams in the world compete, It's like the Olympics. There were so many unforgettable moments and I'll have to wait till the Olympics to get the rush that I felt watching Brasil and Italia play. Can't wait till 2010!

Everybody is sad, the whole world, just let me tell you that if someone says that they are not, it has to be an American(U.S), because all they like is lousy basketball and baseball, for fatties, men i've seen fat people in baseball, what the hell is that? i did not know fat people were athleletes, or maybe if u r a golfer.
