If Brazil does not have enough top level stadiums to host the World Cup I am sure that they will end up co-hosting with another country, possibly Argentina or Uruguay, similar to the South Korea-Japan World Cup of 2002.

CONMEBOL has pretty much decided that Brazil will be their only bid, because all their members have backed it. The only problem is that Brazil doesn't have any World Cup-level stadiums at present, and they haven't laid out any plans to build any new ones as far as I know. If they don't have some plans by the announcement date for the 2014 World Cup, then FIFA could open the bidding up to countries on other continents (with the United States being a favorite, for obvious marketing purposes).

I was wondering where is was going to be held. South America huh? Cool... SoMexico Hosted in 70' and 86' and Argentina hosted in 76' BUT Brazil hasn't hosted since 50'

So that's my vote. With how much respect the world has for Brazil's soccer talents, They have to be next in line~ That'd be a fun World Cup to go to FOR SURE~!

Personally, I would like to see the world cup in Brazil. It would be a thrill for Brazilians and the rest of the world as well.

Also, can ppl who write "who cares" go away and find a topic that they do care about? Thanks

I'd love to think it might be in Mexico simply cause I could actually get there to see some of the games; however, if its at the same time of year as this last one was - boy is it going to be hot and I don't mean the competition.

I'd love to see it happen in Argentina again, but I have no idea where it's going to go. If our lovely neighbors to the north (Uruguay, Paraguay, or Brazil) host it, it'll be close enough. :)
