Pathetic that people justify Zidane with ridiculous"he said, but no she said" bull#$@%. People, he lost his head, he acted like a nut. That's it.
For the record, when Zidane played for Juventus, he headbutted someone in a champions league game and was suspended for 5 games.
So cut out the racist crap, because it's a pathetic cop out.

Well I see you've removed the racist inferences from your questions but they're still just as crude as ever. Also, you don't attempt to salvage someone's respect - did you mean image? So back at ya....Don't you think if funny that the Italian fans feel the need to defend their victory by casting dispersions on Zidane? Guess it must be hard to just sit back and enjoy your victory when it was won in such a shallow manner. Makes me feel sorry for the Italian team captain because he really is a neat person and fantastic player and there are a number of other good players on the team but how they must loath having to play with the likes of Materazzi.

Denial . It's hard to accept . Simple as that . I would do the same if I'm a big fan of Zidane . When we love someone so much, we tense to overlook their bad sides , or we try to deny their mistakes. It's not the first time Zidane lost his temper .

No, I don't hate Zidane fans. Why do you care so much? He's got amazing talent and was looked up to by many people. I wouldn't condone what he did but who are you to condemn him. People can think and believe what they want and unfortunately you won't always agree with it.

I don't hate them as much as I believe them to be misguided. Fan or not one should strive to be objective. These fans tend to ask or answer questions which insuinuate that Materazzi "must" have said something and what is their proof or evidence? Nothing more than speculation and rumor. You better hope you never stand trial with such people on a jury.
