There are many screen filters out there - check at any local computer or office store (Staples, for example, and probably Best Buy and Circuit City, among many others). However, there are several options you can do first.
1) LCD monitors are usually much easier on your eyes than CRT monitors. This is expensive, though.
2) Try adjusting the contrast and/or the brightness settings on your PC. That can make a big difference.
3) Check the refresh rate on your graphics card. A slow refresh rate (60 MHz for example) can be harder on your eyes because of the "flicker" that your eyes will detect, but most people can't actually see it. Try 75 MHz or, if your monitor will support it, even higher.

There are some good anti-glare filters that fit over your monitor. The KEY is to get the right size for yours, otherwise it won't really help.

Just changing the angle at which the monitor is setting can make a difference...but I agree with one of the other people, get the refresh rate up as high as you can.
Other than that.....sunglasses? J/K!
