God is not a human person. God made us. Jesus called God 'father' and its easy for people who have a loving human father to think of God as father but God is omnipotent (all powerful) omnipresent ( everywhere) and immortal (without end)
As someone else pointed out first, when Moses asked what he should call God (what is your name?) God replied, 'I AM WHO AM'
All we ever get to see is just a small part of God. Its like living on one side of a mountain. I might see a steep slope and clouds hiding the summit, you, living on another side see a gentle path and a snow capped top. Same mountain, we are both right but neither of us is big enough to see it all. God lets us call him father so we can begin to understand something of the way He cares for us but God is much more and quite different from us although there is something of the divine, of the God who made us, in everyone of us.

All I have to go on is the Bible. (Yeah, there are other religious texts, but I believe the Bible to be the true word of God). So, in the Bible, Jesus says if you've seen him (Jesus), you've seen the Father, and that he (Jesus) is the only way to the Father. And also the Bible says homosexuality is an abomination to God. You can draw your own conclusions. I will just say that if you read the Bible, you will know what it says on a variety of subjects, and you won't have to ask us.

I guess that if God is almighty, then God can be whatever God pleases to be. Perhaps when God does this, God becomes each and every one of us, living at different times and places. Perhaps we are all God, the Universe in all its variation, all planets, stars, animals, plants, oceans, and everything else is God being all the different things God chooses to be.

God is neither, god is a idea man has made up to feel special, anything god has said has been written down by man. Therefore it most likey been changed to suit that person point of view in the world!

The bible says that we were created in "God's image" (although don't ask me to quote the book verse and chapter - somewhere in Genesis I guess). My interpretation of this is that we are not identical but similar (in some unknown way). After all, who is to say who is right out of all colours, creeds, persuasions and genders (although there are only two of the latter admittedly). So my answer is yes.

God is almighty, there is no if, and's, or buts about it. God is refered to as a man. He should be looked at as a Loving, Jealous, Heavenly Father. God made man (Adam) in His image.
Wether He is Black, or Arab, or White, or Asian is of no matter. God is God, and if you belive in Him, He will take care of you. He loves you so much, that He allowed His only begotten Son (Jesus) to die on the cross to pay for your, and my sins.

Yes.
If you believe the religious stuff, we are made in God's image, so God is also a terrorist and a paedophile...now whatever about gay, you just KNOW that won't sit well with the religious brigade, but it's true.

If God is actually real, and is as described in the Bible, then he (it) is none of the above. God would have no concept of life or death, or any physical existance at all, nevermind color or sexual origin.
Wouldn't this belong in the religion category?
