I hope not. But, I'm not sure what you mean by that. I live in Maine and I can tell you this....native Mainers who have lived here all of their lives are being forced to sell their properties and move elsewhere due to the highest taxes in the country. We have a lot of outsiders who buy summer properties on the lakes and the ocean and push the prices up, making it impossible for a true Mainer to live here any longer. Soon, "Vacationland" will be a very apt title for the state, as there will no longer be year round residents.

I'm from Maine and when people ask me here in Georgia where I'm from I tell them and they say "Where's that" so I go through the routine of explaining it and I always get the reply of "Oh, I thought that was part of Canada" Hello, did no one pay attention is Geography class? Everyone thinks life stops at Mass.
