Do guys see less in you if you have acne?

Nope.
Looks only last so long. After a while you gotta talk to the girl, and if she's got no brains, personality, or charisma, she's sort of a waste of a person.
So, develop a personality where guys want to get to know you better. The acne will fade in time.

for dating, acne can be a problem, but as friends, you can have as much acne as you want, it's the personality that counts.
I believe the opposite is true too. Girls would less likely date a guy with tons of acne.

Truthfully, looks do play a part but character helps.
As for the acne I guess that depends on where and how much.
The times I've fallen in love I realised after that they weren't what you might call commercially beautiful or what I thought I had wanted. Actually it was the quirks and "flaws" that gave me my best memories.
I worry about how much pressure is on people from the media and its followers to look impossibly good. I feel that pressure too at times. But don't think that a non-photoshopped face is going to leave you unwanted.

It depends on the level of maturity (and possibly lack of stupidity) of the guy. As guys get older (well I find this anyway), we are more interested in finding a woman that we can relate to than one who simply looks nice. I'm 28 and it's only in the past few years that it has really been something I have started to do though. Don't confuse that with guys admiring beautiful women though - that happens till the grave!

I think initially, men do go for the looks. But it's your personality and brain that sustains their interest.
Yes, acne can have a terrible effect on your appearance. That's why the anti-acne industry makes billions every year!

The shallow ones do but that's OK; you don't want any of them anyway. The really nice guys (like me lol) wouldn't care about acne because it eventually goes away, but the nice girl underneath will still be there.

I'm not a guy, but I definitely think looks are the first thing that guys go for... but the good news is that different guys like different things in girls, and that personality goes a long way.

Girls who aren't highly physically attractive do have to work more to get attention from guys, but what is most important is to be yourself and not to place too high a value on how physically attractive you are because quality guys are attracted girls that have a whole lot more than looks going for them.

initial attractions tend to be physical (looks) or lust. Especially most guys think with below the waist rather than their head when they see a beautiful lady.
but need not dispair as attractions that last are emotional.
Of course the best attractions are both physical and emotional.

Not all guys go for looks... but many of them do, depends on their age.... know this that their is always someone out there for you regardless if you think there is, there is... it took me a long time to find that right person but I did have hope and don't let go of it.
