I know the gradual lotions don't stain clothes, but I am looking for an actual self-tanner that doesn't stain clothes... if that's possible : ) Any suggestions would be great, thanks! It is a real pain in the butt to shower before I put it on, then shower again before I want to put nice clothes on.

Sorry, anything with enough of the dye to give you a tan with one application can stain your clothes. You might want to try a foam though, since they dry quicker than lotions and are easier to apply than sprays. I like Coppertone Endless Summer Sunless Tanning Foam...I can put this on out of the shower, do my hair & makeup, and by the time I get dressed it's long since dry.

Edit - Going out in the sun is not safe!!! Neither is a tanning bed!!! You're smart to go for a fake tan, here in 20 or 30 years the answerer above will wish she did!

it doesn't exist lol, sorry. You might be able to find one that stains less than the ones you've used before but as for no stains at all...I really doubt it.

I'd suggest you spend some time out in the sun and tan naturally - it's safe and free!! Plus you can do whatever want while you're doing in - listen to music, read...file your nails..have a nice ice cold beer. Lol! Or go to tanning beds if you don't tan naturally very well or fast.

I know you probably don't want to hear me rant about what I think you should do lol because it's just my opinion and your question wasn't "how should I tan besides using self-tanners" ;) Just thought I'd add it in...in case you're interested. Good luck in finding a tanning product.

Wow i realized I just caught myself stereotyping...by your screen name I tihnk you're a guy and here I am telling you to file your nails lol sorry. my mistake.

They all stain your clothes if you do not let them dry properly. They tell you it takes about 5 minutes to dry, but you should wait more like 15.

Try Mary Kay sunless tanning lotion.
